“We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Goldcrest cabin. We loved being surrounded by nature and hearing the birds sing in the morning! The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for basic cooking. We appreciated the little touches like providing ground coffee, bread, milk, butter etc. The cabin is also in a great location with lovely walks and National Trust properties nearby.” March 2026

“Absolutely lovely stay. We were there with family coming from different locations. The cottage was lovely, quirky and very well equipped. Bedrooms had plenty of space and the beds were extremely comfortable. We all had a brilliant time, the weather was a bit mixed, but there are tons of games supplied (we had a Scrabble marathon), there was a lovely fire and a big table. The enclosed garden made it very easy for the dogs. Seriously, a stunning break, would definitely do it again!” January 2026

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Goldcrest Lodge with our 10 month old lab who was in her element. The place was very easy to find – really well sign-posted. The lodge is so comfortable, my husband suffers from the cold and he loved how toasty it was. The little touches made it feel so special. We are already thinking about coming back and bringing friends who could stay in the Tawney Owl lodge down the path! Speaking of owls, was so pleased to hear one on our last night.
