Access to the gravel path leading to the lodges is through a secure coded gate to the right of the parking area. A light switch to the left illuminates the path for 5 minutes, allowing time to walk down the path. The path leads to 2 gates, the left to Goldcrest and the right to Tawny Owl, with light switches on both posts. Goldcrest is 85 metres and Tawny Owl 150 meters from the entrance. There is no access for cars.
Both lodges have 2 small steps onto the decking, the first approx. 7.5cm and the second 15cm. There are no further steps. The lodges are on one level. The door leads to the living area. To the right is the bedroom, and to the left the kitchen area, with the bathroom beyond.
The decking area for both lodges has a screened outdoor bath and a table and chairs. This is gated, making it dog secure.
