Newly modernised in 2009, this luxury self catering holiday cottage provides excellent self catering accommodation for up to six or eight guests wishing to visit Sussex and Kent.

The cottage is well positioned for many local outdoor activities. Bewl Water offers boat rides, cycle hire, and taster courses in a variety of water sports. There are several excellent golf courses in the area, as well as clay pigeon shooting and several fishing lakes. Sea fishing is available at Brighton. Some excellent walks are on our doorstep, including ones around Wadhurst Castle Estate.

Ground Floor

• Sitting / Dining Room
  This large bright sitting / dining room has large comfy sofas, a traditional dining table that seats eight comfortably, and an open log fire. It has two large sash windows overlooking the walled garden.
• Kitchen
  This is a farmhouse kitchen with a slate floor and farmhouse table and chairs. It is fully fitted with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave, as well as a gas hob and electric fan oven. The window looks into the cottage's own walled garden.
• Shower Room
  This offers a shower cubicle as well as a useful downstairs toilet and hand basin. Equipped with a washing machine and separate tumble dryer, it also provides laundry faciltiies.

First Floor

• Master Bedroom
  This large master bedroom has zip-and-link twin beds that when linked together make a very comfortable king-size bed. It has extensive built-in hanging and shelving space with a built-in dressing table area, and an antique chaise-longue to laze on or read a good book. The window overlooks the garden and enjoys stunning views for miles across the valley to the Brightling Tower and down to Battle.
• Double Bedroom
  The second bedroom also has zip-and-link twin beds that can be made up either as a king-size or twin beds. It has built-in hanging and shelving space, an antique dressing table, and views across the valley.
• Twin Bedroom
  The third bedroom has twin beds, a built-in cupboard, shelving space, and a dressing table with views across the garden to the valley beyond.
• Family Bathroom
  This has an enamelled cast-iron bath with shower over, a hand basin that is original to the cottage, and a toilet.
